This is the stuff my dreams are made of. These are those moment that you want stop motion for, because you know as they are happening they are surreal and irreplaceable. Today, probably by God's design, I had the pure pleasure of spending the afternoon with my favorite four-year-old and sweet baby. We loaded up the stroller...a bat, two balls, a lunch, big blanket and we were off. Bryce, you rode your Radio Flyer wooden stroller...I will never forget your little blond head, that right foot just a-kickin', as you zoomed in front of Kate and I up to the mansion lawn. I should be working. You both are suppose to be sick...but the stars aligned, and those moments I have been so sad about missing presented themselves this afternoon, and we took it! We found a perfect spot under a shady tree...I wanted to be a little in the sun, but you grabbed the blanket Bryce and drug it to the spot you wanted...Mr. Bossy :)! Kate, we laid you on the blanket and you rolled around ( your new "trick" in the past week) while Bryce and I ate lunch, and took pictures. There were several times when something must have spooked about 50 birds in a nearby tree and they all took off over our heads! You thought that was awesome Bryce..."why do they keep doing that!". You entertained me like a little trained monkey trying to throw teddy grahams into the air and catch them in your mouth. You told me I was your girlfriend :)....you held my hand, we played chase and baseball. You informed me more than once that I "can't hit"...so your Mr. cocky too! I retold to you about a day when Brock was your age and he and I and you, Bryce, did this same thing...that was a perfect day too. Must be something about time in a park with nowhere to be with your favorite little men...ahhhh. The sunlight was perfect. The Jazz playing on my phone was perfect ( the song when I looked at it was call Indian Summer - how apropos!) But more than anything the company was perfect...it's been over a month and a half since I have been able to write to my little ones...a tough 6 weeks starting back to school. We missed you today Brock! Third grade calls though! I miss my babies more that you three will ever know. Thank you for reminding me today...I love you. Mommy
Sweet Baby Kate...I love your smile...I swear it's already ornery!

Bryce - I love you to the moon. No, the stars ;).

Beautiful pictures! Sure looks to me like the "perfect" day! Who took the pics of you and Bryce together? They are beautiful! And Kate...I haven't seen you in a few weeks, what a big girl you are! Grandma Charla
