July 16th, 2011...And we are off!! We are beginning our trek across Kansas to the beautiful state of Colorado! We decided on Estes Park, Colorado because we thought it would be a great place for you boys to do boy stuff like fishing and hiking, and would be cool enough weather for Baby Kate. I used to vacation in Estes Park with my family when we were kids, and they were great memories. Daddy has been to Colorado a few times as well, but never Estes, so this will be awesome to share with you!!The car ride was so long, but you guys did awesome! There were so many times Dad and I looked at each other and it was completely quiet!! Bryce was in the back with his DVD player and headphones, Brock in the middle with Baby Kate. Brock was amazing with you Kate...he took paci-duty for over 12 hours and never complained! Kate you are super-baby...I don't think you ever fussed for more than 5 min the entire trip out!
After 12 hours ( it was suppose to take nine hours), we arrived in Downtown Denver. We loved the Hampton Inn we stayed in...beautiful! At 9 pm Brock, Bryce and Daddy went down for a swim. What a good ending to a long day! Tomorrow it's off to Estes Park!
